About Our Founder
Spag N Shine was created with one heartfelt goal: to relieve the stress of keeping a home or business clean so families and clients can focus on what truly matters — enjoying their time and spaces without worry.
Nicholas Spagnolo brings a rich background of hard work and dedication to the company. Growing up in a family that owned a successful chain of Shop ‘n Save stores, Nicholas worked at one of the locations alongside his brother, learning the importance of customer care, attention to detail, and strong operations. He went on to earn his paralegal certificate in Pennsylvania while helping his father prepare the family businesses for retirement. After the stores were sold, Nicholas spent six and a half years at PNC Bank, where he built valuable professional experience in a fast-paced environment.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, like many others, Nicholas began seeking a new direction that would give him greater control over his future and better align with his personal values. While still at the bank, he carefully developed strong systems and processes for what would become Spag N Shine.
At the heart of the company is the influence of his mother, Rita Spagnolo. Her exceptional cleaning habits and high standards, passed down through the family, became the foundation for Spag N Shine’s thorough and reliable approach.
